BEAT THE BLUES
Did you know that recent research supports the connection between our mood and natural lighting?
All of us are subject to getting the blues. Most of us, at some time or another, will experience feeling light blues when a situation evokes sadness, loss, fears, changes, disappointments, despair, or anxiety. We are likely to experience feeling depressed, or simply just get the blues.
At times this can be a healthy process, although it often feels uncomfortable it offers us the opportunity to look inward and reassess our values and tap into our creativity for problem solving.
Some blues can be healthy and healing. But when the few blue days turn into more, or you just get tired of feeling blue, there are many ways you can utilize natural lighting to relieve the blues and regain your motivation, reduce that sense of apathy, passibity, indecisiveness, or fatigue.
There is a lot of research out there which you can consult on your own, and since we are not experts on the profession of light therapy, here we will share only a smidgen of the abundant information we have found available on the benefits of natural lighting to relieve the blues.
